Hogs earn 4-seed in SEC Tournament with potential LSU rematch in quarterfinals

The SEC Tournament seeding is final, and the Hogs are a 4-seed.

That means the Razorbacks earn a double-bye for the second straight year. LSU earned the 5-seed by virtue of winning a five-way tie for fifth place with Alabama, South Carolina, Florida, and Texas A&M. In order to face Arkansas in the quarterfinals on Friday, the Bayou Bengals must beat the winner of 12-seed Missouri and 13-seed Ole Miss on Thursday.

A potential rematch with Auburn then awaits in the semifinal. Tennessee and Kentucky are on the other side of the bracket.

The break until next Friday will hopefully give the Hogs time to rest after a grueling late-season run that saw the Hogs play 9 Quad-1 opponents in their last 10 games. To go 8-2 in that stretch is absolutely incredible.
